Make a Difference in a Child’s Life – Lead Teacher Position
The Middlecreek Area Community YMCA (MAC Y) is looking for a caring, energetic Lead Teacher to inspire and support young children through play, learning, and positive guidance.
Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will:
- Engage children with enthusiasm and kindness
- Create lesson plans based on PA Early Learning Standards & Creative Curriculum
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
- Support child development and kindergarten readiness
- Communicate regularly with families and your team
Qualifications
What You Need:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (or in progress)
- 2+ years of childcare or teaching experience
- CPR/First Aid & child safety trainings (or willingness to obtain)
- Warm, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
