Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The Lewisburg YMCA offers a variety of Pickleball events on its hard courts.
Open pickleball (member/non-member) rates are: $5/8 Drop-in and $25/$35 Monthly. If you purchase a Pickleball Membership, that includes unlimited monthly play, but needs to be renewed each month. Please check into the front desk before you participate.

Leagues
Come join the Lewisburg YMCA on Tuesday evenings this spring for our Major League Pickleball team format league! Players will team up to compete in doubles games. We are looking for team captains to select a team of four players (two men and two women) of a 3.5 level or higher, with two alternates. Choose your players and team colors, create a team name, then register online to solidify your spot in this exciting competition! We’ll be accepting four teams this season totaling 16 players (and 2 alternates). This registration and price is set for the cost of the individual’s participation. It is $60 per member and $75 per non-member to register.
Format:
- League meets Tuesdays, April 1 – May 27, from 6:30-9:00 PM, for a total of 9 matches.
- League is open to 3.5 level players or higher. (Please contact Galen Grant for inquiries)
- Teams are comprised of four players with two males and two females making up the team.
- One match consists of four doubles games. Each player will play two extended 15 point games and a possible tie breaker each Wednesday.
- Games are SIDE-OUT scoring to 15 points. Each player will compete in a rally scored tie-breaker known as a dream breaker if a deciding tie break is needed.
- An exciting atmosphere with warm-up time, music, and two strategic time outs per game. Championship court will be refereed!
