Description
Working directly with the supervisor and/or other staff, an instructor will assist in implementing the progressive YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum.
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for the children in the Swim Lesson program
· Provide lessons as outlined by YMCA and/or supervisor
· Communicate lesson plans, intentions and observations to parents and/or supervisor
· Effectively communicate foreseeable schedule conflicts with supervisor
Qualifications
Must have experience working with children and
· Knowledge of major competition swim strokes and breathing techniques
· Must have current CPR/First Aid certification
