I’m Tom, one of the Certified Personal Trainers of the YMCA at the Miller Center. My job is to provide safe, effective, efficient, and PERSONAL Physical Fitness training for you. I started my quest back in the mid 1970’s as I began my own training program which led to more fun on the waterski and an interest in Exercise Physiology. I have been certified by the American Council on Exercise since 1990 and have continuously maintained my bi-annual CEC certification requirements through various educational opportunities. I have recently completed the ACE “Orthopedic Exercise Specialist Program”. I hold membership in ACSM, IDEA, & NSCA whose journals provide the latest in industry research.
